Job summary

OpenAI’s Hardware organization develops AI-native silicon and system-level solutions for demanding AI workloads. This role as an AI Accelerator Systems Software Technical Program Manager will help bring our chips and software roadmap to life, collaborating across teams and with external partners.

Based in San Francisco with a hybrid model (3 days in the office per week), relocation assistance is available. You will manage end-to-end software development for AI acceleration systems, lead planning

Qualifications

• Experience as a software technical program manager for data center system products taking concepts to volume in a data center environment with high-quality scale.
• Knowledge of end-to-end software development program management from concept to deployment in data centers.
• Ability to work with AI researchers and engineers and own team goals independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end software development from design to implementation for AI acceleration systems, coordinating across teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead planning and scheduling of AI system software designs with strategic partners and vendors.
• Coordinate and lead internal resources and communications for efficient interaction with partners and vendors.
