Job summary

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP seeks a Toxic Tort and Product Liability Litigation Associate in California. You will handle complex civil litigation matters from start to finish, including strategy, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of civil litigation experience, CA Bar admission, and strong advocacy and client-relations skills. Remote and hybrid options are available for Southern California residents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Current California State Bar admission is required.
• Experience preparing pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, and appearing in court.
• Arbitration or trial experience is a plus.
• Experience supervising law clerks and junior associates is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Handle toxic tort and product liability matters from inception to resolution.
• Develop legal strategy and conduct research to support cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs; manage discovery.
• Argue motions in court, participate in mediations and trials.
• Collaborate with diverse clients and mentorship from partners.
