You will research, draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trial preparation while collaborating with partners and clients.

A JD from an accredited law school and current California Bar admission are required; 1+ year

• Strong legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and client interface.

Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Toxic Tort and Product Liability Litigation Associate to join our award-winning team. As an integral member of our litigation team, you will gain immediate hands‑on experience handling complex toxic tort and product liability litigation matters. You may also handle various matters involving general liability, wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, breach of contract/business disputes, and more. From inception to resolution, you will have the opportunity to handle every aspect of your cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with team members and have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced partners.

• Fully remote and hybrid options available. Remote candidates must reside in Southern California
• 1+ years of experience handling civil litigation matters in a law firm environment. Experience toxic tort and product liability litigation a bonus, but not required.
• Skilled in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, propounding and responding to discovery, as well as interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions and attending mediations is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills along with a client‑focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
• Desire and/or ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Current admission to the California State Bar is required.

The expected base salary range is $120,000-$165,000, however actual compensation will be determined based on experience.
