Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in San Francisco, CA, seeks a Toxic Tort Associate to join our litigation team. The role offers a flexible hybrid environment or remote work within California, with duties spanning pleadings, hearings, and client communications.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, California admission, and 2+ years in toxic tort litigation, including discovery and pretrial motions. Strong analytical and written skills are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in California.
• 2+ years of toxic tort litigation experience required.
• Experience with asbestos, talc, silicosis, diacetyl, benzene, or related toxic torts preferred.
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions.
• Experience cross-examining plaintiffs and other fact witnesses preferred.
• 2nd chair trial experience a plus.
• Superior analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
