Job summary

Leftbrain is seeking a Remote Tour Accountant to support the Business Management division with tour and concert accounting. This role focuses on building budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across a diverse roster of artists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or corporate finance experience, with at least 2 years in live music accounting.
• Experience in business management or promoter's accounting/finance teams is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain tour budgets and track expenses and cash flow.
• Review show settlements with tour managers and onsite accountants, ensuring fees and merchandise revenue match deals and are paid on time.
• Send financial updates during tours and prepare final reconciliations when tours wrap.
• Coordinate tour payroll and tax withholding across jurisdictions, including international markets, with tax accountants.
• Collaborate with business managers and tour managers to obtain receipts and timely reports.
