Job summary

Goldratt Group is seeking a Theory of Constraints Business Consultant to build strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes that deliver bottom-line results. You’ll work in small teams and apply TOC in every engagement, developing relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure satisfaction throughout the engagement.

You will lead projects, track metrics, and prepare client communications, developing practical recommendations to improve profitability and engagement outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working in Change Management, Consulting, Operational Excellence, Production, MRO, Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or General Operations environments.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in working on and/or leading operational improvement projects and implementations.
• Strong interest in change management principles, methodologies, and leading organizational change efforts.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing; specifically able to leverage
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Previous experience in consulting or in client facing roles
• Previous experience in managing, mentoring, or teaching
• Ability to apply a range of analytical tools, gain and synthesize insights, and develop solutions (doing so using Theory of Constraints framework is a plus)
• Proven ability to frame projects and establish required governance to move projects forward, working with both internal and external teams
• Ability to travel as needed (up to 80%, will vary by project). Note, due to the nature of the job and travel expected, candidates should live in Major US Cities. When not on client site, you will work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects, including tracking metrics and preparing communications to report back to client and internal leadership.
• Develop practical recommendations and look for opportunities to improve engagement profitability.
• Work alongside the client’s team, assisting with implementation tasks.
• Facilitate workshops with front-line workers and supervisors, connecting with and motivating the client team.
• Develop skills of client team members where appropriate.
• This role leads to a Senior Consultant/Project Manager position.
