Job summary

McGraw Hill in the United States is seeking an experienced IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Manager to lead design, development, and maintenance of TM1 solutions. You will manage TM1 developers, align planning and analytics with finance goals, and ensure scalable, auditable processes across budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities include architecture design, TI development, data integrations, PAW dashboards, and governance for SOX 404 compliance.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) including managing multiple instances of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) on the cloud
• 4-5 years of managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of TM1 architecture, TI, rules and feeders

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of TM1 models
• Develop cubes, dimensions, rules, TI processes, and feeders
• Optimize system performance and scalability
• Manage and mentor TM1 developers and analysts
• Oversee project delivery, timelines, and resource allocation
• Establish development standards and best practices
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, and business teams to gather requirements
• Translate business needs into technical solutions
• Provide strategic input on planning and analytics initiatives
• Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, and security
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure system stability
• Manage data integrations with Oracle SaaS, EDW and other systems
• Deliver dashboards and reports using PAW
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and support budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning
• Provide audit documentation and support SOX 404 compliance
