Job summary

McGraw Hill seeks an IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Manager to lead design, development, and maintenance of TM1 solutions. You will drive financial planning, forecasting, and reporting systems that scale with the business and align with strategic goals.

This is a remote role open to US applicants. You will manage TM1 developers, partner with Finance and FP&A, and ensure system performance, security, and data integrity while delivering dashboards with PAW.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) experience, including managing multiple instances of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) on the cloud.
• 4–5 years of managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) including: system architecture and data modeling, TurboIntegrator (TI), rules, and feeders.
• Experience leading teams and projects.
• Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) models.
• Manage and mentor TM1 developers and analysts; oversee project delivery and resource allocation.
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, and business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Oversee system administration, upgrades, and security; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Deliver dashboards and reports using Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and ensure data accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes; assist audit and SOX compliance.
