State of Alaska is seeking a data/training specialist within the Department of Education & Early Development. The role supports Title I-C recruitment and eligibility, collaborates with districts, and ensures accurate statewide data reporting to state and federal partners.

Responsibilities include creating training materials, coordinating recruitment timelines, and traveling to rural Alaska as needed. Telework and some in-person work are possible for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience working with data, data systems, spreadsheets, and data collections.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to translate needs into training materials.
• Experience teaching others and providing coaching.
• Ability to interpret technical information and advise others.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with state and district staff to provide training and technical assistance for Title I-C eligibility.
• Develop recruitment plans, timelines, and procedures.
• Produce training materials and ensure accurate data submissions to DEED and federal stakeholders.
• Travel to rural Alaska and deliver statewide training (virtual or in-person).
