Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 5+ years experience in researching and examining titles, with refinance and resale transactions; California experience required.
• Strong customer service focus is essential.
• Proficient typing at 55 WPM or faster.

Responsibilities

• Perform title examination and review chain of title for residential orders.
• Abstract and analyze records (mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital stats, maps) to determine ownership and restrictions.
• Resolve missing or contradictory information in title documentation.
• Prepare initial title commitment documentation following procedural guidelines.
