Essent Group Ltd. is seeking a Title Examination Specialist to join our remote team in the United States.

You will search, analyze, and evaluate title records for real estate transactions, identify issues, and prepare commitments and reports to facilitate timely closings. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in title examination, familiarity with public records, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of title examination experience.
• Strong knowledge of default title search procedures and public records.
• Understanding of refinancing processes and documentation requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High-level customer service and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review titles searches of public records and determine insurability of property titles.
• Perform county records searches for mortgages, liens, judgments, and easements.
• Ensure titles are clear and compliant with requirements.
• Prepare title commitments, title reports, and related documents.
• Monitor emails and respond to title inquiries and turnaround times.
• Maintain accurate records and update title information in systems.
• Collaborate with title officers, underwriters, and closing agents to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations.
