Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Threat Response Engineer to join our Security Services team. This remote (USA only) role reports to the Senior Manager, Threat Response Engineering and handles responses to confirmed compromises on customer endpoints under the MDR service.

You will investigate threats, generate client-ready reports, and collaborate with multiple teams to enhance security posture while participating in a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Investigate detected threats and use security products to contain and remediate in customer environments.
• Provide thorough reports detailing actions taken for environment cleanup and protection.
• Develop effective response strategies to improve customer security posture.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Intel, and Product teams on remediation methods.
• Prioritize tasks and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
