Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) in Neurology Rare Disease.

This senior, field-based non-sales role partners with medical affairs and marketing to advance disease education, referral pathways and market development. The TLL cultivates trusted relationships with national and regional thought leaders, integrates insights into regional plans, and supports education programs, launch readiness, and post-approval advisory activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced clinical/scientific/public health or business degree preferred.
• At least eight years of relevant biopharmaceutical experience in field marketing, TLL, market development, or launch readiness.
• Recent experience in rare or ultra-rare disease, neurology, neuromuscular disease, genetics, or diagnostics preferred.
• Pre-launch and launch experience; ability to operate within pre- and post-approval engagement boundaries.
• Ability to work independently in a field role without an established franchise infrastructure.
• Strong clinical and scientific fluency for credible disease-state discussions with senior specialists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional plans aligned with national strategy and launch priorities.
• Map priority institutions and thought leaders to clarify diagnosis, testing, counseling, referral and treatment paths.
• Collaborate with MSLs on shared thought leaders and scientific needs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to translate regional insights into actionable plans.
• Lead engagement with national and regional congresses and professional meetings.
• Ensure compliance with pre- and post-approval engagement rules.
