Job summary

Mirum Pharmaceuticals in Houston, TX is seeking a Therapeutic Account Manager focused on the Liver portfolio to advance rare cholestatic disease programs. You will develop focused territory plans, engage physicians and payers, and drive disease awareness, patient identification, and treatment initiation across complex health systems.

The role requires clinical credibility, insightful questioning, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Services

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive sales experience in pharma/biotech.
• Rare disease experience is highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology experience desirable.
• Strong clinical aptitude and ability to learn complex disease-state data.
• Account-based selling across health systems and referral networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused territory business plan aligned with priorities and measures of success.
• Identify high-opportunity accounts, health systems, and referral networks; develop customized account plans.
• Build trusted relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and care teams; deliver value and follow-through.
• Map influence within complex accounts and secure next steps to advance strategy.
• Coordinate compliant actions across field partners and maintain momentum with customer needs.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Services to inform strategy and execution.
