Job summary

Point Loma Nazarene University’s School of Theology and Christian Ministry is expanding its adjunct pool for Spring and Summer 2027. The pool supports the Accelerated Undergraduate program with part-time, online or hybrid courses beginning January 2027. Applicants will be reviewed for qualifications and placed in the pool for future openings.

Responsibilities include teaching Theology and Biblical Studies courses, advising students, and collaborating with faculty. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Evidence of excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate teaching.
• Experience teaching diverse student populations preferred.
• Commitment to integrating faith perspectives with academic inquiry.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of Accelerated Undergraduate Theology/Biblical Studies courses.
• Advise students academically, spiritually, and socially.
• Participate in departmental governance and service activities.
• Contribute to scholarly activity and possible mentorship with students.
