Escape Velocity Entertainment Inc is seeking a Test Manager to lead QA for a AAA game development team. You will oversee embedded testing, mentor QA Leads, and align cross-functional leadership around quality, risk, and schedule in a fully remote setup.

You will drive test strategy, milestone readiness, and external QA coordination while improving automation and data-driven reporting to support senior leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software QA with 3+ years managing teams in game development.
• Proven track record shipping at least one major AAA title across the full development lifecycle.
• Expertise in test strategies, risk-based testing, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead global QA strategy, objectives, gates, and risk-based testing for major milestones.
• Integrate QA into early development planning to ensure quality is built in.
• Mentor QA Leads and testers; manage internal and external QA resources.
• Oversee test planning, execution, defect analysis, and reporting to leadership.
• Coordinate first-party certification and milestone release readiness.
• Advocate quality within project leadership and partner across disciplines.
• Manage external & co-development QA teams and set reporting standards.
• Implement data-driven QA dashboards and drive continuous process improvement.
