Job summary

WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and Department of Neurology at West Virginia University School of Medicine are seeking Teleneurology/Telestroke neurologists for our Joint Commission approved Comprehensive Stroke Center. Ranks include Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.

Candidates will work remotely and function as faculty in the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI). The RNI is a comprehensive multidisciplinary patient care, education, and research

Qualifications

Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure.
Successful candidate must have completed a neurology residency program as well as vascular neurology fellowship program.
Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in neurology and vascular neurology.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

Practice in the areas of general neurology and vascular neurology.
Weekly coverage schedule from 5:00pm to 8:00am.
24-hour coverage over the weekend from 8:00am Friday to 8:00am Monday.
Opportunities for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
There are ample opportunities for research.

Education
