Job summary

WVU Medicine – University Health Associates in Wheeling, WV, seeks a Neurohospitalist (Assistant/Associate/Professor) to practice neurology at Wheeling Hospital with 7 on/7 off Telestroke support and 26 weeks/year.

The successful candidate will teach medical students and residents, be eligible for state licensure, complete neurology residency and board certification, and may rotate to other WVU Health System sites as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure.
• Neurology residency completed and board eligible/certified in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of neurology.
• Teach medical students and residents.
• Provide 7 on/7 off Telestroke support.
• Cover 26 weeks/year.
