The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and Department of Neurology at West Virginia University School of Medicine are seeking Teleneurology/Telestroke neurologists for our Joint Commission approved Comprehensive Stroke Center. Rank options include Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

These roles are remote and faculty appointments with the WVU RNI; duties include general and vascular neurology duties, teaching medical students and residents, and opportunities for research.

Qualifications

• Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure.
• Completion of a neurology residency program and vascular neurology fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in neurology and vascular neurology.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of general neurology and vascular neurology.
• Provide care via teleneurology/telestroke services.
• Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; participate in research as available.
