Job summary

WellPsyche Medical Group, a remote telepsychiatry practice serving Washington State, seeks psychiatrists to join as independent contractors. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric care remotely, collaborating with clinical and administrative teams.

Requirements include WA license, board eligibility/certification in Psychiatry, completion of an accredited residency, and experience with telehealth and medication management. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Washington State physician license (MD/DO).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience practicing as a Psychiatrist.
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Experience treating adults and/or children and adolescents.
• DEA registration and prescribing authority.
• Telehealth experience and comfort with telepsychiatry.
• Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up care.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications as clinically appropriate.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and make appropriate clinical adjustments.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options.
