Job summary

WellPsyche Medical Group offers 100% remote telepsychiatry in California for MD/DO psychiatrists. Independent contractor (1099) with flexible scheduling options, serving patients statewide.

Applicants must hold an active CA medical license, be board-certified/board-eligible in Psychiatry, and have telepsychiatry experience with DEA registration. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for better patient access.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California medical license (MD or DO).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry; completed accredited residency.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Psychiatrist.
• Telepsychiatry experience and DEA registration; English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and follow-up care.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications.
• Maintain complete clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with therapists and other clinicians.
• Ensure care aligns with California licensing requirements.
