Job summary

UpLift & BetterHelp invites licensed psychiatrists to join as a remote, part-time contractor delivering mental health care via their telemedicine platform. Clinicians will assess patients, prescribe when appropriate, and coordinate with a network of therapists.

A strong preference for multi-state licensure and multilingual abilities is noted. This is a 1099 contract role with flexible hours, emphasizing accessible care and compliance with state telehealth laws.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychiatrist with active medical license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience as a psychiatrist.
• Comfort prescribing medication when clinically appropriate.
• Experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery.
• Multiple state licenses and fluency in additional languages are strong advantages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video consultations with patients via telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Coordinate treatment planning with UpLift’s network of therapists.
• Provide empathetic, high-quality care and uphold clinical standards.
• Share product and workflow feedback with engineering and operations teams.
