Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Telepharmacy Technician to manage day-to-day operations at a Remote Dispensing Pharmacy, overseen by a Supervising Pharmacist. Responsibilities include inventory control, patient communication, and adherence to CVS procedures.

You will mentor new Telepharmacy staff, focus on service and accuracy, and collaborate with teams to improve patient care and outcomes. This full‑time role supports a nationwide Telepharmacy model.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (may be 2+ in select states).
• PTCB National Certification or equivalent state-accepted national Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• State-level licensure requirements vary by state.
• Regular and reliable attendance; ability to fulfill physical demands with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and secure operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy, including keyholder duties and temperature/logging for medications.
• Oversee inventory management including cycle counts, returns, and annual inventories; ensure medications are in stock for patients.
• Communicate and coordinate with patients, insurers, prescribers, and Supervising Pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing and counseling.
• Mentor and train new Telepharmacy Technicians; support onboarding and development.
• Adhere to CVS workflow procedures and quality standards; support patient care and service recovery.
• Drive customer service improvements and collaborate with front store and Telepharmacy teams to optimize workflow.
