Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Telepharmacy Technicians to support Remote Dispensing Pharmacy operations. You will perform daily pharmacy tasks under Pharmacist oversight, ensuring safe prescription processing, inventory control, and patient-focused service.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, empathy in patient interactions, and collaboration within a pharmacist-led team. Travel to stores may be required to meet business needs and support immunization services where permitted.

Qualifications

• 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician; CVS Pharmacy Technician experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and pharmacy team manage and improve patient health
• Overseeing the safe and secure operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy, including serving as a keyholder, keeping alarm and safe codes, and protecting the integrity of all pharmacy products
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Completing all tasks related to controlled substance prescription fulfillment, including counting, capturing images, and maintaining inventory
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
• Completing inventory activities to maintain target inventory levels and mitigate inventory loss
• Contributing to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset, and being receptive to feedback
• Volunteering to travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed by the business
• Serving as a peer mentor for onboarding and development of new hires in the Telepharmacy Remote Dispensing Pharmacy
• Understanding and complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and data privacy
• Delivering additional patient health care services when the pharmacist is on-site (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing)
