Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider enabling physicians to practice virtually with flexible, patient-centered care. Physicians set their own schedule within a structured weekly framework, work remotely, and operate with streamlined EMR and a dedicated support team.

Compensation is per consult with 35 dollars per visit and hourly equivalents that scale with visit length. The role requires active multi-state licensure (five states preferred) and DEA registration, with QuickMD covering

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX) with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, across four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no C‑subs; buprenorphine for OUD where applicable).
• Collaborate with physicians, NP nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
