Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering care across 44 states. The physician role is fully virtual with a per-consult compensation model and control over your own schedule as an independent contractor.

Licensed physicians in at least five states, with 15–20 hours weekly, can join a fast-growing team focused on addiction medicine and telehealth expansion. Training, credentialing support, and full malpractice coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX) and willingness to obtain more licenses.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Able to work at least 15 hours weekly, across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews.
• Deliver patient-centered care and maintain therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications within scope (no controlled substances except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder).
• Collaborate with other physicians, NPs, nurses and support staff for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
