Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across the United States. Physicians set their own weekly visit schedule and work from anywhere, within a framework that supports high-quality addiction treatment and expanding telehealth services.

The role emphasizes patient-centered virtual care, collaboration with clinicians, and staying current with telemedicine best practices. Compensation is per visit, with earnings tied to visit length and volume.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs and provides support).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no controlled substances except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
