Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians work as independent contractors with a structured weekly framework, setting their own visit schedule and earning per-visit compensation.

The role emphasizes addiction care and expanding access to care, with licensing across multiple states and pay that scales with visit length. Training and malpractice coverage are provided as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours per week across four days
• Excellent communication and clinical excellence commitment
• Active DEA registration and state CSL where required

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments and treatment decisions
• Deliver patient-centered care and build doctor–patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support care decisions
• Prescribe medications as appropriate (no controlled substances except buprenorphine for MOUD)
• Collaborate with healthcare team and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care
• Stay updated with telehealth innovations and best practices
