Job summary

QuickMD provides fully virtual care across 44 states with physicians setting their own schedules. As an independent contractor, you’ll deliver high-quality telemedicine services from anywhere, focusing on addiction care and expanding access to care through a modern EMR and provider support.

Compensation is per visit at $35, with additional pay tiers ($105/hour based on 20-minute visits, up to $210/hour for shorter visit times) and earning potential reaching $260K+ for top performers.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states and willing to obtain additional licenses
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days per week with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews
• Deliver patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no controls except buprenorphine for certain treatments)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices
