Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across 44 states with a focus on addiction care and expanding programs in weight management and general telehealth services.

Licensed physicians can work from anywhere with a 15–20 hour weekly commitment, earning compensation per completed consult and hourly rates that rise as visit times shorten. Independent contractor model includes dedicated provider support.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (costs covered)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted a week in advance
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; DEA registration and CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews
• Deliver patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests to support treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and guide their use; buprenorphine for opioid use disorder allowed
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses and support staff
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices
