Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care to 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly visit schedule, work remotely, and receive compensation per completed consult.

This role requires active licensure in at least five states and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. All work is fully virtual with a focus on addiction care and expanding access to underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willing to obtain more (licensing costs covered).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across at least four days.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; DEA registration and CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver patient-centered care and maintain therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and guide use; buprenorphine for OUD allowed at QuickMD's policy.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
