This independent contractor role requires active multi-state medical licensure and telehealth experience. The position emphasizes patient-focused care, efficient documentation, and collaboration with a dedicated provider-support team to expand access to care.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with telemedicine experience and strong communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume or remote care settings.
• Willingness to obtain additional medical licenses; QuickMD covers costs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Prescribe medications per guidelines (no controlled substances, except buprenorphine for MOUD).
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate documentation.
• Maintain accurate medical records to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed.
