Job summary

QuickMD is a leading virtual care provider seeking licensed physicians to join our all-virtual team. Physicians set their own visit schedules across multiple states, operating from anywhere with a streamlined EMR and dedicated provider-support staff.

This independent contractor role offers per-visit compensation and the potential for higher earnings as visit times shorten. Ideal candidates are licensed in at least five states, have telehealth experience, and can commit 15–20 hours weekly across

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five states.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses; QuickMD covers costs.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Able to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted a week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for OUD).
• Collaborate with other physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
