Job summary

Cecelia Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our virtual obesity-management program. You will provide nutrition counseling and medication-management support for weight-related conditions, delivering care remotely through phone, video, chat, and email.

You will work as an independent contractor, set your own hours, and earn hourly pay ($42-$47), with a $500 bonus after 6 months and quarterly bonuses after 1 year.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian credentialed by the CDR.
• If required, you must hold state licensure.
• Able to incorporate constructive feedback to improve patient interactions.
• Must have a HIPAA-friendly workspace with high-speed internet for secure patient conversations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via phone, video, chat, text, and email.
• Provide medication management and support for comorbidities related to obesity under physician supervision.
• Engage in remote patient monitoring for devices (scale, BG meter, BP monitor, ketone meter).
• Support dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications within established protocols.
• Collaborate with team physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Establish rapport and therapeutic alliances with a diverse patient population.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and other techniques to support behavior change.
• Meet program metrics and maintain high-quality care standards.
• Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
