Job summary

Cecelia Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join as an independent contractor delivering nutrition counseling and obesity management services remotely. You will work with physicians, monitor patients, adjust dosing under protocols, and document care across phone, video, chat, text, and email.

This flexible, part-time (at least 20 hours/week) role offers 1099 autonomy, weekly scheduling, and opportunities for ongoing education with CEU stipends and performance bonuses, while contributing

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian credentialed by the CDR (CDR credential) and licensed where required.
• Able to obtain state licensure as needed to support member coverage.
• HIPAA-compliant workspace with secure internet for patient conversations.
• Proficient with electronic medical records and digital tools.
• Flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must reside in the United States and not hold full-time employment elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via phone, video, chat, text, and email.
• Manage medications related to obesity under supervision of physicians.
• Engage in remote patient monitoring with various devices.
• Support dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications within protocols.
• Collaborate with team physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Establish rapport and therapeutic alliances with a diverse patient population.
• Use motivational interviewing to support behavior change.
• Meet program metrics while delivering high-quality care.
• Complete all documentation in a timely manner.
