Job summary

QuickMD is seeking licensed physicians for fully virtual telemedicine roles across multiple states. You will provide high-quality care with a flexible 15–20 hour weekly schedule, supported by a streamlined EMR and a provider-support team. All work is as an independent contractor with per-visit compensation.

This role centers on addiction treatment and general telehealth services, enabling care access beyond traditional practice; you will operate remotely with ongoing credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
