Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Telecommunications Field Technician to support FAA programs by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting networking and telecommunications equipment at customer sites in Corpus Christi, Houston, or intermediate locations. Travel is required within the assigned area with occasional remote site support.

The role demands independent work, strong communication, and ability to work on-call to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain FAA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs and install, repair, configure, test, and perform preventive maintenance on networking and telecommunications equipment at customer locations.
• Read, understand, and follow equipment drawings and task orders; document activities and communicate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk.
• Travel within assigned area and occasionally beyond to assist FAA customers, including on-call support and after-hours availability.
