Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for a 100% virtual Tele-Psychiatry role in the Department of Psychiatry. The successful candidate will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team caring for hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs.

Four-day, 10-hour shift schedule with strong training in CLP/ Emergency Psychiatry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist with Texas license.
• Experience in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry preferred.
• Excellent communication and telemedicine skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tele-psychiatry evaluation and treatment in hospital/ER contexts.
• Lead interdisciplinary team and coordinate care.
• Participate in training and development within Department of Psychiatry.
