Job summary

Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry. The role is 100% virtual with a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.

The ideal candidate will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses. Candidates must be licensed in Texas and reside in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana or Georgia.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist with medical license in Texas.
• Licensure in Texas required with residency in listed states.
• Experience in multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment of complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary team in evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Support development of tele-psychiatry services and remote care delivery.
