Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Care Group seeks a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry in a 100% virtual role. You will lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluating and treating hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.

This role follows a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule. Texas licensure is required; candidates residing in TX, WA, FL, LA or GA are eligible.

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist licensed in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Position will be 100% virtual and follow a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly desired.
