Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group invites a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry in a 100% virtual role. The successful candidate will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses, with a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.

Texas licensure and residency in Texas (or allowed states) are required; training in Consultation-Liaison

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist to join Department of Psychiatry.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry strongly desired.
• Licensed in Texas and reside in Texas, Washington, Florida, Louisiana or Georgia.

• Lead an interdisciplinary team in the evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Role is 100% virtual with a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.
