Job summary

Connections Education LLC is seeking a Technology/Computer Science Teacher for the South Carolina Bridge Connections Academy. The position is full-time and remote, serving students in SC with home-based instruction from Summerville, SC.

Responsibilities include counseling students, parent communication, and maintaining records within a fully online learning program. Must hold SC certification to teach Technology/CS; excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach Technology/Computer Science in South Carolina (appropriate to grade level responsibilities).
• Must reside in South Carolina.
• Gifted and Talented Endorsement highly recommended.
• Strong technology skills (MS Office and Google Suite).
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional program with asynchronous and synchronous sessions.
• Complete grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences.
• Communicate with parents, students and teachers to develop Personal Learning Plans and schedules.
• Develop knowledge of the program's K-12 curriculum and detailed grades for assigned levels.
• Assist students and parents with alternative strategies and daily assignments.
