Job Description

Develop Agile-based SDLC/APLC for a new software development organization. Participate in and support development pilots during the initial phases of the project. Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress. Maintain process documentation. Ensure development teams practice core agile principles such as collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility. Update Agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs. Recommend improvements and assist in implementing best practices. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. Help the team make appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition. Identify and remove impediments, and prevent distractions that interfere with the team's ability to achieve sprint goals. Facilitate discussions and conflict resolution. Participate in planning development schedules based on methodologies that create cohesive plans with critical paths, task dependencies, and milestones, managing project plans to ensure successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters. Adapt project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout pilot projects to respond to emerging requirements and risks.

Skills and Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
  • Experience utilizing SAFe/Lean/Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban) in enterprise-level application development projects.
  • Proficiency in Agile estimating, forecasting, planning, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies including PI planning, backlog grooming, iteration planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Experience with Agile practices such as behavior-driven development, test-driven development, continuous integration/deployment, DevOps, and code/design reviews.
