Job summary

Stannah’s New Lift Division is expanding, seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to promote and sell lift solutions across the South Midlands with travel into the South East and East Midlands. You’ll develop strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, and guide clients to the right technical solutions.

This home-based role offers regular travel across the region, competitive salary with benefits, and a path to shape the division’s future through hands-on selling and technical insight.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in lift industry, ideally in a sales capacity.
• Relevant professional or technical qualification or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual targeted sales, average selling prices and conversion ratios.
• Monitor and report on progress, identifying and acting upon issues.
• Formulate and exercise strategies for optimising sales.
• Assess client needs through good questioning techniques.
• Provide accurate quotations and follow up leads.
• Identify, visit and build relationships with prospects and repeat customers.
• Carry out site visits where required.
