Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Engineer to service and repair lifts across Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will manage a patch, perform routine maintenance and fault finding, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance on a day-to-day basis.

The role covers a structured route with a mix of commercial and residential sites, often within your allocated area, and includes support from a local team when needed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience as lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance of lifts.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts to restore operations.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running safely.
• Keeping sites safe, compliant and ensuring proper site logs and paperwork

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route across Cambridgeand surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch - servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Cambridgeand nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts

• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
