Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Technical Project Manager for the Ford Credit Platform Engineering group to oversee agile delivery across multiple teams and ARTs. You will shield delivery teams, manage intake, governance and cross-functional dependencies, while driving quality and transparency across Jira, Confluence and SharePoint.

The role requires deep Lean-Agile experience (SAFe), strong communication, and the ability to partner with engineering leaders, product managers and analytics teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• 8+ years' experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
• Extensive experience using, managing, and supporting teams with Agile program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.

Responsibilities

• Play the role of Technical Project Manager managing one or more teams aligned to one of many Agile Release Train (ART).
• Be first line of defense to shield delivery teams from planned and unplanned needs for various purposes.
• Collaborate with Transformation leadership team to develop Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Manage intake process for the program and coordinate intakes through assessment, estimation, planning.
• Manage scope change management practices and drive governance to ensure strong scope change control.
• Drive and oversee coordination of cross-functional teams involved in the transformation to support all aspects of the program.
• Maintain data sanity in tools like Jira, Confluence & SharePoint.
• Enhance quality standards to be followed across the teams.
• Monitor cross-dependency tracking with external teams and ensure integration alignment.
• Provide support to other transformational services using data available in various tools.
