Job summary

WhatConverts is seeking a Technical Project Manager to shepherd complex initiatives from scoping through production. You’ll balance strategy with engineering realities, manage architecture tradeoffs, and lead cross-functional teams to timely, quality releases.

You’ll translate business goals into concrete technical plans, track progress with dashboards and OKRs, and ensure security, compliance, and QA practices are embedded in every milestone.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years managing technical projects or programs in software or systems engineering.
• Hands-on roots in software development, systems engineering, or DevOps.
• Experience leading engineering teams through delivery cadences in Jira/Confluence.
• Track record of shipping releases and production deployments across interdependent teams.
• Ability to explain technical decisions to engineers and executives.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Turn business goals into clear technical requirements, milestones, and owners.
• Run the delivery rhythm: work breakdowns, risk reviews, prioritization, and capacity planning.
• Own launches end to end, from production cutovers to rollback plans.
• Connect product, sales and leadership with developers, DevOps, QA, and architects; de-risk dependencies.
• Catch bottlenecks and quality gaps early; lead retrospectives to improve every release.
• Provide leadership dashboards, OKRs, and crisp executive updates while keeping scope in check.
