Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking aTechnical Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering roadmap projects on-time and on-quality from a remote basis in the United States. You will manage plans, risks, and dependencies while guiding agile practices and ensuring a strong collaboration rhythm with engineering, product, QA, and business partners.

The role requires a solid background in software development, Ed Tech context, and PMP/CSM consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive software development knowledge in an Ed Tech context.
• Fluency with AI tools to improve planning and collaboration.
• Experience managing project timelines, resources, and scope to meet business requirements.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to prioritize under pressure.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Proven ability to build and lead cross-functional teams including other PMs.
• Experience scaling high-performing product teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• PMP and/or CSM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as chief promise keeper for milestones and deliverables.
• Identify and remove impediments to delivery.
• Monitor schedule compliance and escalate issues.
• Own issue resolution and risk mitigation.
• Ensure end-to-end delivery of user experience.
• Drive on-time, on-scope, on-quality commitments.
• Facilitate project releases with Go/No Go and release plans.
• Monitor and drive tech ticket maintenance.
• Coach one or more Scrum teams and champion agile methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC and manage dependencies.
• Communicate across teams and stakeholders; maintain decision logs.
