Job summary

Planet Labs PBC is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive our largest, cross-functional programs from concept to delivery. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Space Systems, Enablement, and Customer Support to translate roadmaps into structured execution plans and accountable timelines.

This full-time, hybrid role is based in Washington, DC or Denver, CO, requiring presence in the office 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development or program management experience in SaaS, platform development, or analytics.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across a broad organization.
• Thrives in ambiguous environments with scalable processes and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate end-to-end program execution across multiple function areas to ensure successful releases.
• Scope program schedules and translate complex requirements into actionable milestones.
• Translate requirements across business and technical stakeholders clearly.
• Identify dependencies and proactively mitigate risks.
• Facilitate data-driven decision making and cross-team communication.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress, priorities, risks, and changes.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.
