Job summary

National Debt Relief is seeking a Technical Program Manager to bridge business needs with Data Engineering for both NDR and Reach Financial. You’ll own how work enters, is prioritized, and moves through the data platform, coordinating with engineers and leadership.

You will balance urgent requests with enterprise value, scope work credibly around Snowflake-based data platforms, and push back when deadlines don’t align with capacity or business goals.

Qualifications

• Eight years in technical or program management overseeing data/engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred.
• Proven ability to translate non-technical needs into technical work with acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Jira backlogs, epics, sprints, workflows; familiarity with Monday.com.
• Experience managing dependencies, risks, and timelines across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with data warehouse projects and modern data stack.

Responsibilities

• Serve as intake point for data requests across NDR and Reach, ensuring structured submissions.
• Refine requests into sprint-ready tickets with scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and business impact.
• Challenge requirements and deadlines; propose phased or alternative approaches when capacity is limited.
• Partner with Data Engineering leadership on sprint planning and quarterly roadmap.
• Keep Jira epics and data engineering roadmap accurate and current for leadership visibility.
• Coordinate deadlines and dependencies between teams and external vendors.
• Identify shared priorities across businesses and surface duplicate requests.
• Track delivery commitments and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
• Improve intake workflows, including AI-assisted processes and ticket templates.
• Lead and supervise a team as needed for program success.
